Are the food tours suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues or other disabilities?
We have made every effort to ensure whatever your disabilty – physical or mental – you can enjoy the tour in exactly the same way as anyone else. Please refer to this information regarding accessibility around Chester during your visit.

Hearing Impairment and the Visually imapaired
We have walked the tour with Accessibility experts in Chester and will happily make the small alterations to the tour that will ensure you have a full and enjoyable experience.
If you are or anyone in your party are blind or partially sighted, will will likewise ask that you get in touch. This is to enable us to make arrangements with venues. We want to make every effort to give people with sight impairments the best experience on our Chester tour.
If you are or anyone in your party have hearing difficulties, please contact us. We can arrange for someone to accompany you on the tour who is profficient in sign language (if there is nobody in your party who is able to help with this)
Mental Disabilities and Conditions
If you are or anyone in your party have autism, AS, ODD, ADHD or any other mental disabilty or sensory impairment, please makee us aware. We will endeavour to take measures to ensure as little as possible arises to cause irritation, anxiety, distress or discomfort during the tour.
Some amount of noise is to be expected in the venues, as is the party having to move from one stop to the other. Any concerns please do contact us. We are trained in SEN and happy to hear your thoughts on any part of the tour route.

Are gift vouchers available?
You can buy gift vouchers for all the tours that we run.
The only exception is corporate and private tours as these are often bespoke.
The Girl’s Night Out Tour can also be designed for your particular tastes and if you wish to talk to us about adding things for particular tastes, or change things for any other reason then do get in touch. Otherwise, vouchers can be purchased for a set tour.
Can children come on the tour?
Teenagers and children over 5 are certainly welcome on the tour, but may get bored. This is an adult-orientated tour and we go into bars and restaurants where alcohol is served.
A discount is offered to those under 16.
If you need to bring children under 5 years old, please get in touch to discuss it and see if we can accomodate the request.
Is there a lot of walking on the tours?
The Chester on a Plate Tour is around a 5k walk but at a gentle pace, there are a couple of inclines and some steps but mostly it is flat.
The Tasting Menu tours and Brunch and Brewery Tours are around 3k.
The Deva tour is not inclusive of a tour so far less walking involved.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options?
We work hard to accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets, and most of our current tours can offer dishes to suit, with the exception of Da Noi which offers a tasting menu containing meat, fish or dairy produce
Are food allergies and dietary requirements catered for?
We ask that you make us aware of your allergies when you book in order for us to inform our venues and keep you safe. Contact us if you feel you want reassurance and we can put you in touch with the venues who are always happy to assist in this matter.
We can cater for gluten free, lactose intolerance, and nut allergies.
Are private, corporate, club or organization social tours available?
Yes we cater for all the above and they can be bespoke.
We offer separate prices depending on requirements includin length or tour and the number of guests in your group.
Contact us to discuss your needs for either a family/friend group, club, organisation or a company event. We can tailor it to your needs and arrange a time that suits you and your group.
How long is the tour?
The main tour, Get a Taste for Chester, varies in length depending on numbers, whether some people are a little slower than others, wetaher, and a variety of other factors, but you can expect the tour to be between 4-4.5 hours long to the final stop.

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
Yes, a refund is possible within 3 days of the tour start date, or we can move your booking.
We are happy to move your booking to another available date if you let us know more than 48 hours in advance.
Will the tour be cancelled in bad weather?
Unless snow or severe weather makes the tour dangerous then we will continue with the tour.
We try to run the food tour in all weathers. There are plenty of stops and opportunities to hide from the rain on the rows!
Can dogs come on the tour?
Dogs can come on the tour as long as all the other people in the group are agreeable once contacted. Please enter the desire to bring your dog with you in ‘special requirements’ and we will get in contact with you.
Some people may be allergic or afraid of dogs, and some of the premises won’t allow very large or disruptive dogs.
